Granola is fun to make and can be used as snack on its own, or as a topping on yogurt or cereal. The best part is, if you don't like our ingredients, you can substitute and make it your own! Full of protein and fiber, granola can be a healthy part of breakfast or a snack. And this version is 100% natural! Appropriately high in fiber to help manage constipation, and a good source of protein for our athletic kids.
Heat oven to 250*F.
Spray 15" x 10" pan with cooking spray.
Mix oats, cereals, walnuts, almonds, sunflower seeds, raisins, and shredded coconut in large bowl.
In saucepan over medium heat, heat brown sugar, oil, honey 3 to 5 minutes, stirring constantly until brown sugar is dissolved.
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla
Pour over cereal mixture and stir until well coated. Spread mixture loosely and evenly in pan.
Bake 1 hour, cool completely in pan and then crumble. Store in airtight ziploc bag.
