Chicken Tenders

This lighter version of a homemade chicken tender does not use any oil, keeping it low in saturated fat and a healthy twist on a childhood favorite! Great for those looking for protein or heart healthy entree options!

 1 lb Chicken Breast, Boneless, Cut Into Strips
 ½ cup Hummus
 ½ cup Bread Crumbs
 ½ cup Parmesan Cheese, Grated

Preheat oven to 425* F.

Cut each chicken breast into 4 strips. (Or use 1 pound chicken tender pieces)

Lightly coat chicken pieces with hummus.

Mix bread crumbs and parmesan cheese.

Dip hummus coated chicken tenders in bread crumbs and cheese mix, coating each
side completely.

Place on a greased or parchment lined baking sheet.

Bake for 10 minutes, then turn tenders and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
